FEDERAL GRANTS

Title I

Title I, Part A of the Elementary Secondary Education Act (ESEA) provides financial assistance to schools with high numbers or high percentages of students from low-income families. The purpose of the funding is to help ensure that all children meet high academic standards. Please note that students do NOT have to be from low-income families to receive support through Title I funded programming. Services provided are supplemental to instuction that already occurs within the school setting. 

 

Parent involvement is critical to the success of studetns and his highly encouraged through Title I. If you are looking for way to be more involved in your child’s learning, please contact their teacher. For questions about Title I programming in SAU #9 please contact Dr. Aimee Frechette
